Justmuvve — From Broken Links to a Self-Service CMS

From broken live site to clean handover

The Brief

Justmuvve — a Lagos-based travel and experiences platform — came to TDA with a live site that was actively broken. 404 errors on key pages. No SSL. Assets (images, fonts, scripts) loading inconsistently or not at all. The client had no visibility into what was wrong or how to fix it. They just knew the site was costing them credibility.

The Diagnosis

The problems turned out to be layered:

  • File permissions were set incorrectly, preventing PHP from reading assets it owned
  • mod_rewrite wasn't configured correctly, causing clean URL requests to 404
  • SSL was installed but the HTTPS redirect wasn't enforced — visitors were landing on the HTTP version
  • The admin panel had broken access controls — the client couldn't log in to update content

What We Fixed

All four issues, in priority order. File permissions corrected recursively. .htaccess rebuilt with proper mod_rewrite rules, HTTPS enforcement, and security headers. SSL redirect configured. Admin panel access restored and tested.

Then the handover: a custom CMS admin panel the client can use independently to add experiences, update pricing, and manage listings — without touching code or calling a developer.

The Result

A site that works. Every page loads. SSL is enforced. The client updates their own content. The week after handover, they added three new experiences without contacting TDA once.

The team at TDA didn't just fix the site — they gave us the keys to it.
